Keg at the brewery during the inaugural London Bimble. Pours clear, deep gold with a foamy white head. Quite solid overall, rich hop character, tangerine, bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Resinous on the finish with ripening citrus fruits, bready malts, tangerine, pine. Pretty well balanced. Good one.

Bottle on the Euro star en route to Borefts, 24/09/15. Hazed orange amber with a decent light beige covering. Nose is melon, straw, faint apricot, grassy, light spice, twigorama. Taste comprises tangerine, melon, bready, green and raw in places. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not good, bugger all hops, on the cheap IPA. Presume this was outsourced to some twig brewer ?

Keg from a stall at Borough Market. Pale amber with a moderate white head and light fizz. Citrus and pine hops; definite elderflower too. But the hops aren’t overdone and there’s a little bit of sweet malt to balance, giving a tasty and refreshing yet satisfying beer. Decent stuff.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the local offie. Pours lightly hazed, deep copper-gold with a thick, frothy white head with a yellowish tint. The aroma has bready pale malts, tangerine, orange rind, light pine, light dough. Light to medium sweet flavor with more bready and lightly doughy pale malts, mild piney bitterness, some baked hay, rindy citrus. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pretty nicely balanced on the finish, with hints of drying citrus pith, somewhat drier pale malt character, mellow grass, hay. Not a bad beer by any means. Very easy drinking.

Session IPA at 5.0%? Riiight! When is a Session IPA as strong as some IPAs and both weaker than APA, what a tangled web! Lightly hazy gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Thin malts bring modest sweetness. Mildly spicy orange hops. A little fresh orange. Very mild floralness. Some peel. Light finish. Not bad at all.
