A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin creamy lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light treacle, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with grassy British hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. Cask at The Gate Clock (Wetherspoons)

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a rich ruby with a medium sized off-white head. The aroma has autumn fruits and malts. In the mouth it is sweet with an underlying fruitiness, freshly sliced apples, raisins, some caramel and hints of spices. Texture is a little watery. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. Not bad at all.

Thanks Simon. Fantastic malty caramel. Very dry bitter with a great mild roasted back. Dry bitter Ale with great caramelly roasted complex full body, fantastic balanced with a slightly hazelnut-sweetish back. Great stuff! Dry caramelly bitter in the end.
