Cask at the glenavon pub in Tomintoul. Odd aroma, very acidic, sour malt. Flavour is malty, quite acidic, a light hint of smoke, caramel notes but not sweet. Interesting but not my cup of tea.

On tap at the glenavon pub in Tomintoul. Aroma is very mild, some nutty malt, heather, floral. Flavour is mild and malty, sweet, some light herbal and floral hop notes. Pleasant.

On tap at the glenavon pub in Tomintoul. Aroma is slightly sour malt, earthy hops. Flavour is malty, not very sweet, slightly acidic, citrus, pine, herbal hops. Quite enjoyed this! The slightly acidic malt makes this quite interesting.

On cask at Allan Park Hotel, Stirling - clear yellow, thick white top. Grassy nose, bit of metallic citrus in there. Was told this was brewed at Cairngorm for Riverside MF?

500ml bottle from Tesco as Cairngorm Gold - Clear golden, white head. Lots of maltiness with this one, sticky malty taste and finish.
