Gravity cask @ Wetherspoons, Milton Keynes. Reddish brown. Lively off-white head. Heady scent of red berries and cedar with notable astringency. Taste is unfocused at first, then sharpens to extreme bitter toward the finish. A surprisingly enjoyable ale.

Duft av humle og eik. Lys gyllen farge. Tynt hvit skum på topp. Frisk og lettdrukket, noe svak søtlig ettersmak. Greit drikke øl i sommervarmen.

Cask at The White Lady JDW. Pours clear pale gold, thick white head. Aromas of lemon, dusty malt, stewed apple. Taste is light sweet. Medium body, clean finish. Better than the bottle. 500ml bottle from Tesco. Pours pale yellow, nice white head. Aromas are lemon cheesecake, light buttery, some lost tropicalia. Taste has an astringency, which leads to the finish not being entirely pleasant. Not a bitter in my book, more a blonde. 6/4/5/3/10 - 2.8

Very dark. Sweet character, little bit of butter, some nuttiness but gotta get that diacetyl out of there.
