Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear ruby, small head. Evident spicy cardamom aroma. Sweet and medium bodied with rounded, blown up mouthfeel. The cardamom-like spicyness is strong, diluted by roast crystal malt. The bitterness is subtle. I’m not sure I like the spicyness in this one.

(Cask at GBBF, London, 6 Aug 2008) Brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, nutty nose with notes of chocolate. Malty, nutty taste with dark fruit and a moderate, spicy bitterness. Rather sweet. Drinkable, but leaning in the boring direction.
