Description
Tunnel Brewery is dedicated to using the finest, local, raw materials, such as Maris Otter malts and First Gold hops, grown in the garden of Worcestershire. These will be matched alongside traditional English brewing methods.

Started brewing in 2005 at The Lord Nelson Inn on Birmingham Rd in Ansley. Moved in 2011 to the Red House Farm. In 2015 the Brewery was taken over by Indian Brewery. The Tunnel brand was gradually shut down after the take over. Tunnel Brewery then split off at some stage as a separate company and is now active as a client brewer.

Changed name into Time For Beer in 2020.

Cask at the Solihull Camra Beer Festival 2012. Clear brown pour and a thin bubbly head. Some citrus notes in the aroma, but that’s not a major part of this beer. The flavour is very strange and the bitterness is different to anything i’ve tasted before. There is little on the palate, but I did enjoy drinking this beer and would order another. Serve nice and warm to maximise the flavour, but it would have ben interesting to taste it a little cooler too.

Bottle at Chriso - 25/09/12. Dark chestnut brown with a thin off-white head. Malt forward nose backed up by toffee and nuts. Taste follows nose, a little sweeter with caramel tones. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation - a decent enough drop!

Bottle thanks to Theydon_Bois at ChrisO. It pours very dark brown, with a thin beige head. The nose is caramel, wood, twig, leather, light smoke and ham. The taste is caramel, roasted malt, charcoal, cherry and light smoke, with a smooth, dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty decent stuff all-round.
