Description
Tunnel Brewery is dedicated to using the finest, local, raw materials, such as Maris Otter malts and First Gold hops, grown in the garden of Worcestershire. These will be matched alongside traditional English brewing methods.
Started brewing in 2005 at The Lord Nelson Inn on Birmingham Rd in Ansley. Moved in 2011 to the Red House Farm. In 2015 the Brewery was taken over by Indian Brewery. The Tunnel brand was gradually shut down after the take over. Tunnel Brewery then split off at some stage as a separate company and is now active as a client brewer.
Changed name into Time For Beer in 2020.

Cask at the NWAF, 2012. Cloudy yellow pour with a white head. Banana, mango and peach aroma. Syrupy pear action in the taste with a fruity-malt infusion on the palate. Not bad.

Cask at the NWAF, Manchester, 2012. Amber pour with a white head. Orange marmalade aroma. Fruity. Fruity-hop tang with a hint of tangerine. Fruit laden finish. Well, judging by the pump clip I’ve learnt the erstwhile elves help Mr Christmas make presents all year round and to help him relax he takes out his frustrations on the goblins, well you live and learn!

Cask, gravity at The Bell Beer Festival, Adderbury, Nr Banbury, Oxon, 04.09.10 Pours amber with off-white head. Nice beer with a streaky bitterness that lingers for a while, drinks well considering the low abv. Not a lot to comment on, but its fine. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

[Bottle from brewer’s own stand at the Chiltern’s Festival of Food, Great Missenden] Pitch black with a thin-off white head. Oily mouthfeel. Flavour of smokey treacle mixed with cough mixture. Sour plum comes through, almost vinegary at times. Very odd.

Bottled at RBESG 2008. An unclear golden beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and strong notes of fruit among them peaches. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruits again peaches being strongest, as well as medium notes of malt and dusty hops, leading to a bitter finish.
