Cask @ ACBF 2012. Deep dark brown color. Malt and pepper in the aroma. pepper kicking in with thundering speed, pushing away all other flavor. Hints of chocolate. Sweet., malty. The aftertaste seems to last forever. Had to drink a lot of water and wait a while to restore my palate.

Cask @ ACBF 2012. Blonde. Oily hopbitter aroma with lychee. Oily hopbitter citric flavor. Earthy hopbitter finish.

Cask @ ACBF 2012. Golden color. Mango and citrus in the aroma. Oily hops in the flavor with notes of citrus and tropical fruit. Thin, watery but not unpleasant.

Growler shared at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours lightly hazy amber with a creamy, light tan head. Nice hop charter in the nose, some leafy notes, , dry pine, toasted bread. Light to medium sweet flavour with more toasted malts, pine, melon, orange. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate hoppy resin in the finish, more pine, dank grapefruit. Very good stuff.

[ During RBESG August 2011 ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, open and creamy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, smoke, peat. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, peat, roasted, oak. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, burnt, chocolate, smoke, peat, oak - wood, roasted. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, oak, peat, smoke, dark malt. Fra fat (har nettopp lagt inn bildet) på Brew Wharf okt-15: klar, lys gylden med ok skum. Frisk, lettdrikkelig pilsner med god humleprofil - lett syrlig og med dybde i smaken på tross av at den bare er på 3.9%. Smakte utmerket i solveggen i Stoney Street. Rart å være tilbak, 30 år etter at vi bodde i denne gata!

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is roast chocolate, coffee, taste is similar, dry, bitter.

Gravity cask at Brew Wharf. Pours rich brown with a bubbly off-white head. The nose has some sturdy roast, dry cocoa, burnt leaves. Light-medium sweet flavor with well toasted bread, further earth, mellow chocolate. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with lightly tangy dark malts, further roast, cocoa, very minimal vanilla impressions, mild bitterness. Not bad.
