Description
The Hecks family have been making traditional farmhouse cider in Somerset for six generations, since 1841.
In 1896, we started to sell our cider from our farm shop in Street.
We make our cider by blending juice from apples all grown locally in the farm’s orchards. The cider is fermented in wooden barrels and sold draught from the wood.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with steady bubbles. Light frothy head. Nose - tangy apples and apple skins. Taste - more tangy apples. Light hay and apple skins again. Palate - there's a light sweetness but the good natural apple acidity in the apples makes this very refreshing. Overall - very good.
