Description
The Hecks family have been making traditional farmhouse cider in Somerset for six generations, since 1841.
In 1896, we started to sell our cider from our farm shop in Street.
We make our cider by blending juice from apples all grown locally in the farm’s orchards. The cider is fermented in wooden barrels and sold draught from the wood.

At Heck's Cider Farm 26/7/2023. Very clear for a cider and bright gold in colour. Medium aroma, with a faint rustic edge. Full mouth feel, with some juicy fruitiness upfront, before a finish that began smooth but then shifted to a lingering tartness that added some real character to this cider. Very good.
