German style pils. Flavor of cereals, and grains, with golden malt, good hops, and a bit of fruit. Has a touch of citrus as well. Well balanced, light, smooth, refreshing. Well done.

This wheat ale poured a clear dark orange colour with a nice big bright white creamy head. To the nose there are scents of whipped cream, creme soda, berry fruit and a slight yeast scent. First taste is very smooth and creamy, almost to the point of watery but no quite. Berry flavours along with cream and a slight hopp flavour. Finish is also smooth with a lingering flavour of hopps and a slight bitter end. Very good!

This was the second beer I tried from this place and it seems to be the same as the plowmans but a notch down on the bitter scale. More drinkable than the plowmans but still way over-hopped. Not as an acidic of a beer either as the Plowmans.

This ale poured a dark orange colour with a off white foamy head. To the nose you can smell spices, orange citrus and a little pumpkin pie scent. First taste was smooth and slightly bitter. Nicely carbonated, hoppy with a little spice. Finish is slightly bitter with the spice flavour continued.

This lager poured a dark yellow colour with a great looking off white foamy head. From a growler purchased at the brewery. The nose has scents of orange citrus and sweet malts with an additional floral hop. First taste was very hoppy with an immediate bitter bite. Although not quite as bitter as the Ploughmans Ale it is a little milder. Bitter finish with a bitter hop palate. Slight citrus aftertaste. A little too much like the Ploughmans Ale. I was hoping for something different than the Ale. Great beers but not to drink too much of, I find the hop flavour a little too bold for more than 1 pint at a time.

This ale poured a slightly cloudy dark orange colour with a big frothy dense head, light tan in colour. Very hoppy scent at first. Then came the orange citrus and a little spice at the end. First sip was very hopped, quite a bite. Bitter finish with a little roasted malt and toffee. Overall, way too bitter. They really need to back off on the hopps on this one. After 2 - 600ml glasses I couldn’t drink any more. Thats no good when you have just bought almost 2 litres. Flavour after a while is almost acidic.
