Bottle from Hipercor, bottle number 020335. Light yellow greenish colour, white dense fast disappearing head. Nose is sweet apple, slightly acidic, a bit of funkyness. Flavour is fairly sweet apple, slight acidicity, a bit sugary. Medium carbonation. Finish is mostly sweet. Nothing special.

Bottle from local Mercadona supermarket. Clear yellow coloured with fast disappearing white bubbles. Nose is sour apples, a bit musty and cheesy. Flavour is sour apple, acetic acid, bit of tannines, fairly dry. Finish is juicy apple. Pretty decent.

Bottle from local Mercadona. Clear light yellow coloured, with a greenish hue and some white bubbles. Nose is apple, a bit acidic, som sulphur. Flavour is fairly sweet and slightly sour appel. High carbonation. Finish is fairly sweet and slightly dry.

Bottle, clear strawberry red colour, strong fizzy like carbonation, aroma of apple skins, with a woody hint, clean fruity apple flavour, light sweetness with a balancing medium strong fruity sourness. Nice straight forward cider.

Bottle, clear and a touch rusty red colour, aroma of apple, funkiness amd just a touch of leather, aroma of very ripe apples and funkiness, quite sweet but balanced by an empathic sourmess, making this a clean and highly enjoyable sidra.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland 28/02/14. Pale golden, carbonation evident, off white covering that dissipates to the edge. Nose is tarte apples, woody orchard twang. Taste comprises sweeter apple notes, light smoked ham hock effect, sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid El Zider!

Bottle, 75cl. A lightly sparkling, clear, golden cider. There’s apple cores and some barnyard in the aroma, as well as some lighlty sweet apples. It’s quite effervescent on the palate, medium bodied and semi-dry. A little sweetness in the flavor, with lemony hints, apple cores and some barnyard. Lasting finish. A quite nice one, although a tad sweeter than I prefer. 140228
