Bottled. Pale yellow/golden, small white head, lacing. Maltish and a bit flowery aroma. Not much taste except for bitterness and a bit honey in the aftertaste. Pretty watery.

Med golden color, fruity nose, light body with some unidentifiable, but flavourful, fruity hops. The mouth is slightly tart with some green apples and lemon zest. The finish is moderately dry. Good on tap

Again a riddle. My bottle calls itself Premium lager. Premium, but no Ichiban - oh, and sod the 4.9 - 5 will do. So; I guess the Lager. The Kirin website is of an archetypal futility for research Pale gold with a touch of haze; white head. Flowery nose, bit of ureum, wetted, then dried up again cassonade sugar. Taste of wet hay, sodden sugar. Terrible. Watery texture, sodden MF. Faint bitterish, quite metallic aftertaste. Pils poor. Euhh... oh, you know.

Deep brown color with a light brown head. Light malty nose with some roasted malts. However, it was served way too cold and in a frosted glass to get a good sense of the nose. The mouth feel is is creamy with some excellent roasted malt character and some dark fruity hops. The finish is off dry with roasted notes and deep cherries. Kinda like Big Rock Traditional when its on, but with more roasted character. Good rendition of a Schwarzbeir that I recommend to try on tap.

Bottle. Light yellow colour. Malty, metallic and skunky aroma. OK bitterness which totally disappears in the aftertaste (or lack of same).

Clear yellow color, medium off-white dying head. Big bubbled-carbonation. Aroma of grain and corn, like most pale lagers. Taste is a bit bitter, watery, some sweetness. Not bad actually.

This stuff rocks. After trying many pilsners in the Czech Republic, I can truely say this one really stacked up well. Beautiful golden color, thin white head. The nose has some fruity hops in it (PNW??) along with great maltiness. The body is medium to full with low carbonation and a smooth mouth feel that makes this beer dangerously drinkable. There is also great balance in the body and a moderate hint of bitterness in the finish. WOW, if anyone is unsure about freshness not being important to pilsners, you gotta try this stuff.

Bottle Frothy, white head - mostly diminishing. Fair lace. Sparkling, yellow body. Lightly yeasty aroma - almost no nose perceivable. Lightly bitter initial flavour and finish. Averagily long finish. Lightly bodied.
