Handpull cask at the Rutland & Derby, Leicester. Dark brown, translucent, with a tan creamy head. Lots of liquorice, charcoal, a touch of blackberry in the nose. Sweet taste with a slight medicinal bitterness. Medium to long finish with lots more liquorice in the aftertaste. Heavy body with soft carbonation. Not a bad brew.

Cask pint, hand-pulled in the Albrighton Platform Alehouse, Shropshire on 24th March 2017. Looked and tasted like an Alt. Malty lead in both the nose and taste, mild fruity notes in both and an underlying hop presence. Liked it.
