Charlevoix x Fromagerie Atwater BLNX PREMIUM LAGER 5% Clear gold with a fizzy fast-dissipating foam and a slightly spicy herbal green hop bouquet with light malt notes. Medium bodied and it gets really smooth as it warms up. Nice stuff in honor of a classic Montreal beer store.

Pale and slight haze, with lots of carbonation, which reflects in a weak head. Slightly dusty yeast character - I guess that's the brut. On the palate, it does have a champagne sort of pop to the carbonation, a slightly appley character, mild acidity, and a thin bread note. Mild fruity notes. It's good, I like the way the brut thing goes.

750ml (thx, Marc-Olivier L.!) @ Ryan's shared with Faress and a gang. Appearance: very bubbly, literally looks like sparkling wine, a bit hazy straw with a white head. Aroma: rustic notes, a bit of manure, a bit fruity. Taste: very bubbly, definitely overly carbonated, a lot of rustic notes, a bit dry. Overall: a nice farmhouse beer.

750mL bottle, pours a clear pale blonde with a large white head. Aroma has a nice, complex, buggy yeast character, fermented out honey, rustic notes, and toasted nuts. Flavour is very buggy, with lots of mostly fermented out honey, toasted grains, and rustic notes. The carbonation is aggressively high but well-suited to the beer, especially as the residual sweetness from the honey builds upon multiple sips. Very good.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Lightly hazed blonde with dissipating white head. Rustic saison yeast, very feint honey notes, some champagne effervescence, simple, yet effective. Decent.
