Cask. Yellowish golden colour with a small fluffy white head. Aroma is citrus, some herbs and mild bready malts. Flavour is bready malts, some citrus as well as some grassy and herbal notes. Very simplistic and clean to the style golden ale, with no surprises whatsoever.

Cask. Amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma is floral, mild nutty and toasted notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, some floral and mild nutty and toasted notes. Mellow, but quite longlasting bitterness in the finish.

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Dark brown and only a little translucent with a tight beige/khaki head. Big hit of roasted malt in the aroma. Taste is sweet at first but descends to an intense bitterness to the finish. The bitterness lingers giving berry notes and even a bit of spruce in the aftertaste. Full body for the ABV with soft carbonation.

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Pale to mid-gold and clear with a soapy white head. Sweet juicy aroma, white grape, some grassy and floral notes. Bitter taste with intense bittering hop in the back on the tongue. More white grape but there's an icky sulphurous character which brings the score down. Long bitter finish: metallic, medicinal and gooseberry-y. Got some flaws but overall good.

9/3/2023. Bottle bought at the Wyndham Arms, Salisbury. Pours clear pale golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, malt, grass, light herb. Moderate sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, gently fizzy. Nice long bitter finish. Decent.
