Cask@The Eagle Ale House, London (04/11/2022) - almost clear copper with a off white head. Twiggy hoppy and toasted malty with notes of caramel and cereal, grain, biscuity malts, medium body and soft cask carb, twiggy bitter hoppy finish, nice.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 2, 03/08/22. Pale golden blonde with a modest white cap. Nose is pale malts, grains, straw, lemon rind, herb. Taste comprises modest honey, grass, soft malts, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Usual mediocre honey affair.

Cask at the Bridge, Kingswinford. Pours light gold with a small head. Aroma is straw and lemon. Taste has straw throughout with a slightly eggy finish.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A bright chestnut coloured pour with a thin white head; aroma of apple and blackberry; fruity caramel taste; then a fresh hedgerow hop bitterness. Satisfying and very drinkable.

Cask at Beer Emporium, Bristol. Sampled Oct 2017. Pour’s almost clear orange amber with a smidge of white head. Aroma: very faint pumpkin & associated spices, honey, a little citrus, grass. Taste: light sweet & bitter, light pumpkin, faint caramel, hedgerow fruits, light floral. Light to medium body with light carbonation. Inoffensive.

Hand-pulled pint (as Honey Blonde) at The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 24th November 2021. Clean and clear golden/blonde body, neat white head. Mild honey aroma and taste, some light citrus notes in there too.

Gravity dispense at the Prince of Wales BF, Farnborough, 16/10/21. Dark mahogany brown with a good sized beige head. Nose is dark malts, dried fruit rinds, biscuit, brown bread, orange peel, cocoa dusting. Taste comprises chocolate orange, fruit slice, earthy, brown bread, light spice, dark malts, dark fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2016, day 1 - London. Pours clear yellow with a foamy, white head. Nice one, with notes of light ginger, hay, pale bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish. Good-drinking gold.

10/10/2020. Bottle at the Boojum&Snark Craft Beer Festival, Sandown. Simply named Solstice. Pours dark amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, brown sugar, fruit cake. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, bit watery, average carbonation.
