12/7/2024. Cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival. Pours clear dark golden with a small frothy white head. Is malty, butter, cream cracker, biscuit, starch, citrus, hint of elderflower. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Slightly oily, soft carbonation. Not bad.

Hand-pulled pint in the Railway Tavern, Newport Shropshire on 11th January 2024. Clean and clear golden pour, white crown. Herbal spicy aroma, tried to find sloe berries but failed, taste is certainly fruity but again failed to find sloe berries, decent malt action for balance.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Jan 24. Bought at Sandy Balls Holiday Village. Mucky looking in the glass, quite pokey strong.. fruity hints.. watery body, lacks finesse, bit rough.

8th January 2024, Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie, five guys and loads of beers! Cheers Mat for the 500ml bottle of this. I found it quiet watery and 'wishy washy', where did the alcohol go? Golden body, weak white head. Some hop action with a mini citrus bite but it's not boozy at all. Disappointing.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A straw coloured pour with a thin white head; aroma of fresh hedgerow hops; strong taste of fresh hops, herbal and resinous, over a sweetish malt base; then a lingering bitter finish. Very good indeed, if you like fresh hops!
