6/III/2012 - 33cl bottle from Mitra (Eindhoven) @ home - BB: not on label (2012-219)

Little cloudy deep orange beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, little adhesive, lots of sediment floating around. Aroma: very fruity, sweet peaches, flowery, some honey, citrus fruits, pineapple, candi sugar. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity, some citrus, pineapple, candi sugar, some passion fruit, refreshing bitter touch. Aftertaste: citric hops, still fruity, slightly bitter, but not IPA bitter.

33 cl. bottle @ Bart. Golden yellow with a ehite head. The smell and taste is standard IPA with some more yeast than normal. A slight metallic aftertaste spoils the fun a little bit but all in all a decent beer.

Bottle, 6%. Sourish aroma, not too bad, though. Almost clear amber colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is a lot cleaner than the aroma, slightly hoppy. Good mouthfeel.

Bottle, 11%. The first whiff of the aroma is of chocolate. Then there is a sweet and fruity note with a bit of sour rag. Cloudy red copper colour. Very big stable rocky off-white head. The flavour is very sweet and fruity with a little sourness. Syrupy mouthfeel, a bit too much. Peppery aftertaste, but does not taste 11%. Perhaps better after a few years in the cellar.

Cask @ In de Wildeman. Murky orange color, no head. Aroma: (fresh) hop, citrus, bitter. Flavor is a bit weird, herbal, flowery. Thin on the palate. Finishes bitter. Bit strange.

Vintage 2005
Clear dark brown cola colour, tan head (which disappears immediately). Aroma of Madeira, dark fruit, cheese, malts, raisin and some caramel. Flavour bit sweet, very light. Some dusty old yeast. Light carbonation. Bit thin, but quite nicely aged for the ABV.
