Description
Brouwerij De Snaterende Arend werd opgericht op zondag 15 september 2002. De drijvende krachten achter de start van deze brouwerij zijn Marcel Snater en Peter van der Arend. In september 2003 trok Peter van der Arend zich terug uit dit brouwinitiatief.

75cl Bottle at DRBM, Vintage 2005, ABV 6.5%, brewed at 3 Horne. Clear brown colour, off white head. Aroma of raisins, madeira, alcohol. Flavour is sweet, madeira, light malty, some old yeast, light spicy. Light bodied. Nicely aged beer.

Bottle @ home. Hazy dark golden color, medium head, some tiny debris floating around. Aroma of belgian yeast, spicy, slightly hoppy. Slight citrussy bitterness, hint of sweet, bit fruity of citrus and orange. Bit sticky finish. Easy to drink. Decent stuff.

33 cL bottle at Wildeman. Pours hazy amber to brown with a small tan head. Aroma is citric and fruity. Dense malty, fruity, yeasty and overripe fruity. Bitter, light acidic and roasted malty. Bitter and acidic. Yeasty and fruity into a dry and mild acidic finish.

33cl bottle from ABCBeers. Creamy white head. Clear amber pour. Sweet but pretty good. Alcohol very well hidden. A nice beer

Bottle at De Wildeman. Pours cloudy brown with medium tan head. Aroma is citrus, grass and sour funkiness. Flavour has a certain sourness but combined with the kind of sweetness you would get from a strong aged beer.

On tap at the doerak , delft Very thick creamy white head. Slightly hazy amber pour.. Citrus bitterness. Nice.

Hazy brown / dark red color, off-white head. Smell malts, chocolate, light yeast, light sweet. Taste malts, fruits and caramel. Firm lively carbo, medium body.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of spicy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spices, and fruit, leading to a dry finish.

Blonde/amber. No head. Aroma is alcohol, pepper and a little bit of plastic. Slightly honeyish, biscuity malts with a light pear syrup note. Decent character overall.
