Bottle courtesy of Jack in Utrecht, pre-Borefts Day 1 Tasting. Pours hazy gold with a fine, white cream. Dusty hop nose, some citrus fruits, berries. Medium to big sweet flavor, some caramel, orange, toasty sugars. Medium to full bodied with creamy, lively carbonation. Sugary finish, some bubblegum, ripe citrus, peach. Meh.

From a shared bottle at a private tasting. Pours a cider color with virtually no head or lacing. Caramel and candy apple in the nose carrying over into the taste. Very shirt bitter finish.

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Cloudy light golden brown pour with no head at all and no carbonation. Has a sour apple aroma and a cider like flavour. That sourness sits on the palate and lingers for a while. Nice to taste, not my style.

On tap at Kafé België. Clear golden amber colour, white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, some tropical fruits, nice fruity hops. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, caramel, light fruity, again tropical fruits, citrus hoppy bitter finish, quite mellow. Light-bodied, oily mouthfeel. Nice beer.

Draft @ Kafé Belgie, Utrecht as Kamikaze Kafé Belgie, brewed at br. Maximus. Dorée/orangée, col blanc fin. Arôme fruité, malté sur un beau bouquet tropical. Palais, malt léger, fruité tropical. Palais reste épais avec ce côté grains et une brève amertume de finde bouche. Petit note sucrée vient adoucir le tout avec un malt oscillant plus vers le carapils et un houblon noble.

Sampled @ Kafe Belgie. Hazy dark orange color, medium sized rough, a bit creamy off-white head. Smell malts, some pine, hops and slightly sweet hints. Taste malts, hops, lightly piney, nicely bitter. Medium body, medium carbo. Nice.

From tap at Kafe België. Pours clear and golden orange with an off-white and creamy head. Aroma is crisp hoppy, light grassy. Bitter and grassy hoppy. Light toasted malt base. Toasted malty and light caramelish. Bitter and crisp hoppy lasting impression.

Bottle from the Fiddler. Clear amber pour with an off white head. Sweet caramel, citrus and malt aroma. Light fruity flavour with grapefruit and a lot of caramel sweetness. Bitter finish and low carbonation.

Tried as: Schans H-90 Lentedruppel 2001. (Not sure it’s the same so I will move rating if it appears to be a different beer!) Slightly hazy orange color, small white head. Smell sweet, malts, caramel. Taste malts, nuts, caramel and sweet. Medium carbo and body.

From tap at Arendsnest. Pours hazy orsnge with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, pine and grapefruity hoppy. Bitter,mgrapefruity and citrusy hoppy. Smooth fruity and crisp hoppy finish.
