Bottle from the brewery. Hazy yellow pour, with a large white head. Aroma is bright and tart. Lots of grape must, white grape juice, and floral hops. Lemon zest and oil compliment the soft cereals. Mouth feel is very active and the carb is super lively. Finish is dry, medium bitter, light herbs, white pepper and Basil. Interesting stuff.

On tap a momofuku. Hazy orange pour, with a small white head. Aroma is all peaches, semi sweet peach nectar. Mouth feel is spot on, and the carb is good. Finish is surprisingly bitter, and astringent. Makes for an odd contrast with the super sweet peachy aroma. Overall is went well with my noodles.

Tap a wvrst. Cherry red pour, with a medium pink head. Subtle tartness, hints if sweet cherries but it’s very faint. Lactic tartness becomes more pronounced, and the fruit comes further forward.

Medium to dark copper, with a large off white head. Aroma is vinous, soft, semi sour spicy rye. Light lactic notes with hints if pear and stone fruit. Medium body, solid carb. Finish is leathery, some vinous tartness, with slight funk. Quite nice.

On tap at the source. From past ratings, this sounds like they have totally revamped this beer. Hazy yellow pour, with a large white head. Aroma is loaded with tropical fruit, stone fruit, and some citrus zest. Perfect mouth feel, and carb. Finish is lightly bitter, slightly pithy, bright citrus, and tropical fruit flavours.

Growler from the brewery.
Opaque brown pour, small beige head.
A nice roasty aroma, quite pronounced, and up front. Light pine hops, and some cocoa, and touches of coffee. Quite nice. The mouthfeel is perfect, and the carb is what you would expect from a growler, a tad low. The finish is quite roasty, with a nice subtle cocoa/malty sweetness. Low bitterness in the finihs and some more solid roast. Very drinkable and quite nice.

On tap at Bar Hop.
Black pour, almost no head, but what is there is light brown. Funky aroma, sour malted wheat, and some light tart fruit. The mouthfeel seems thin, and the carb is quite low. The finish is funky, and tart, with some nice fruit, and subtle smoke, and roast. odd beer, but pleasant.

Corked and caged 750ml. Hazy golden pour, huge, pillowy head. Nice wheat, grassy aroma. Lots of lemon, lemon zest, touches of funk. A spectacular to style saison aroma, a subtle pepper/spiciness, with a gorgeous medium bitter finihs, with loads of cereals, touches of funk, and some grassy hops.

750ml bottle. dark copper pour, small beige head. biscuity malts, sweet fruit, minerals, herbal hops, and some light farmhouse funk. Solid mouth feel, quite lively carb. The finish is medium bitter, some spices, light alcohol, crisp, and quenching. Quite nice, some age would really bring everything together. interesting beer.
