This Saison poured a slightly cloudy, dark yellow colour with the biggest, bright white head I’ve seen in a long time. Scents include allspice, cider, very light vinegar and ripe fruit. First swig was very carbonated with flavours of spice and yeast most prodominant. Finish was sharp with a little bitter hop flavour and yeast flavours lingeriung.

Tap. Pours crystal clear pale amber, small white head, dissipates quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is floral and pine. Flavor is light sweet, biscuity, floral notes, some pine. Light body. An interesting take on the style.

A hazed dark reddish copper dunkel with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet dark fruits with light molasses, tobacco and cherries, OK. In mouth, a light bodied sweetish malt with light mineral, faint chocolate, nothing cheery here. Boring. On tap at c’est what beer fest.

Bottle: Poured a clear brown color ale with a medium size off-white foamy head with medium retention. Aroma of caramel malt is dominating which is not what I was expecting considering the style. Taste is dominated by loads of caramel malt with some light grainy notes and a dry finish. Body is light with good carbonation. Big time disappointment as this is not close to the style guideline which I would have expected considering the labels plus I really don’t care to drink this much caramel malt.

This one poured a deep amber colour with a nice , soapy, tan coloured head. Scents include malt, caramel, coffee and burnt toast. First sip was a little watery with flavours of burnt toast and roasted malts. Finish is smokey with a little sweetness.
