Pour a golden with cloud. Nose of honey and apricot. Taste is fairly rich hay malt, solid strong apricot, a little pine, tangerine, over lingering sweet malt that lingers with light bitterness. Excellent. On tap at the Gaslight.

Well-filtered with just a tad film, amber colour with golden highlights. The head is big, lightly beige, with good retention and thick foamy lacing. Caramel malt base with some mild grassiness. The taste shows more cereal grains with some nice hops in the finish, creating building dryness. A nice drying, old school IPA.

Can from the LCBO. Clear dark reddish brown with a tiny beige head that is gone almost immediately. Nose is muted coffee, chocolate and roast. Light molasses sweetness with a light + coffee bitterness. Medium- oily mouth with soft carb. Meh. 6+/3/6/3-/12

Can that pours a dark brown colour with a copper highlight. The frothy light mocha-coloured head has decent stay and leaves a nice topping. Roasted malt base with some dark fruit notes and hints of chocolate and maple. Flavours of mild roasted malts balanced by hops in the finish. Nothing too spectacular, but an easy-going porter.
