Description
Burton Bridge Brewery is a traditional style brewery that produces a wide range of beers.
We have stillaging and cooling equipment, will organise a selection of beers for you to approve and set it all up
For something a little different ask if we have our vintage Morris dray available. It has been on display at festivals and was used as a hearse for a funeral.
Mid-2024 the ownership of the Burton Bridge brewery has changed hands in a merger which also ensures the future of the town’s Heritage brewery.
The deal sees Burton Bridge come under the umbrella of leisure company Planning Solutions, which previously ran the National Brewery Centre in Burton, prior to Molson Coors’ decision to close it.

Cask @ Market Porter, Borough. Pours a clear dark brown color with a small off-white head. Slightly roaste malty caramel aroma. Sweetish slightly roasted malty flavor with some hoppy hints. Dry malty caramel finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

500ml bottle from Notts BF 07. Way too strong and unsubtle. Clear chestnut colour with really thick beige head. Strong fruity aroma. Syrupy malt, hot alcohol. Plums are the fruits in the mouth. Good condition though.

Thanks to the owner of Aldgate for pulling this brew out and sharing it with us. Copper with a foamy white head. Aroma of fruits, sweet malts, hops, some floral. The fruits add a nice twist to the flvor here when I was expecting mainly hops. Finish is tart and bitter. Different, but enjoyable.

Cask at the JDW, Shrewsbury, Salop, 19-10-07 Poured dark golden with white head. Some malts and soft lemon notes in the aroma. Tasted very well balanced good bitterness and honey sweetness and quite bitter and dry but very tasty.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol, 16/10/07. Chestnut with a slight, off-white head. A decent brown ale with a sweet malt aroma followed by a nutty flavour and a bitter finish. Good.

Very dark brown color, small off-white head. Slightly roasted and nutty aroma. Sticky hoppy, roasted coffeish flavor. Long bitter aftertaste. Light palate. A bit too attacking.

Cask (Wenlock Arms, London): Lazy aroma of bittering hops with a barnyardy touch, golden with a small fluffy white head; robust dry-bitter flavour, light to medium-bodied, low carbonation; average dry bitter and slightly fruity-yeasty finish. Nothing really unpleasant detectable, but really not great...........
