Black, heavy palate. Some anise, toast and heavily roasted malt. Alcohol is noticeable but does not hurt the flavor.this is surprisingly good.

Shared 20 oz. bottle. As Colorado Guanabara. Pours almost black with a beige head. Nose is roasted malt, chocolate, alcohol, and dark berries. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate and molasses with hints of coffee and dark fruits. Improves as it warms. Easily the best beer of the 3 we’ve had from this brewery.

Shared 20 oz. bottle. Pours hazy amber with lasting off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, syrup, bread, and bitter nut extract. Cloying. The sweetness combined with the bitter nut flavor make for a rather unpleasant taste. Medium-bodied. Tough to finish this one.

Shared 20 oz. bottle. Amber with a lasting soapy white head. Good lacing. Aroma of citrus, malt, and faint pine. Caramel, malt, citrus, pine, and alcohol flavors. Malt has the upper hand in this one. Hops flavors are there, but more in the background. Medium-bodied. A somewhat bitter finish. Decent.

20oz bottle. Not that impressive of an aroma. Oxidized specialty malts, syrupy not extract tone, slightly infected..the aroma is really unenjoyable, approaching vile. Should have saved this one for a tasting, it is not going to be fun drinking 20oz of this. Serious let down after enjoying some Way Beer sours. Shabby, poorly executed, cheapish feel. Not much is working here.

Clear deep orange to almost pinkish red beer, big irregular creamy yellow head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: sweet, bit funky, heavy sugary notes, banana, honey. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very bitter, resinous, bit chemical, soft fruity touch, sweet, sugary, paint thinner. Aftertaste: alcohol, sticky, some caramel, malty, pretty bitter, more alcohol.
