Bottled. Clear sparkling golden, rich airy head. Minty wort aroma. Sweet and fruity, dusty and empty with sharp metal edges. Lingering chemical unpleasant bitterness.

Bottled@SBWF2008 (thanks to the same person I changed the hue/maccabee with, this time half this for half of bati beer). Pale yellowish golden colour, medium white fluffy head, which disappears quite fast. Aroma is grains, saltwater and mild notes of rubber. Flavour is harsh grass with some mild hops, malts. Ends quite strangely sweet.

Re-rate, Iasi. Light gold colour. Thin head. The aroma is moderate spicy hop. Crisp, with straw malts and moderate herbal hop. Comparable to something like Radeberger when it is fresh.
Original rating, Toronto: Bright golden with a fairly thick head. Herbal, pear-like hop nose with notes of straw and (clover?) honey. Fairly bland palate, some strawlike malts, hint of herbal hops. Bitterness is pretty low with an off-dry finish.

Canned(500ml). -courtesy of and shared with Doggythedog (thanks!)
Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, lively carbonation, dusty hoppy nose with touch of corn. Watery, weak malty and herbal taste with notes of hops and maize. Moderate bitter finish and aftertaste.

500ml Bottle - Pale golden with a white head. Grainy aroma with a hint of citrus. Refreshing but slightly funky taste with some hay and a dry lemon hint.

0.5l can brought from Romania by a friend (thanks Krešimir!), shared with ogivlado Poured a full golden colour with some fine carbonation. Very thick medium sized white head that went away slowly. Dusty hop nose, notes of apple. The taste is watery and mixed bag. Light chewy herbal hop, noticable bitterness. What maltiness there is is far from impressive. Light and eggy, Corn maybe. it’s not exactly offensive but it’s far from appealing. A bit refreshing but not a good beer.

Thanks to Doggythedog, I tasted this from a 0.5 l can. Poured uncarbonated, golden yellow body with smaller head that collapsed immediately. Pretty ugly aroma, malty with some eggy and ugly kind of dusty side effects. Flavor wasn’t better at all! Some strange artificial bitterness with soapy notes, but anyway so watery it’s hard to believe it became so dry in the aftertaste. Cardboard dry. After few sips becomes drinkable somehow but with ugly finish anyway. I expected this is gonna be better than one I’ve tried before, but just the can looked better. Quite bad one.

0.5l can courtesy of a friend who lugged it halfway through the Balkans from Romania (huge thanks, Krešimir!) Pale yellow colour, slightly gilded, small white head that went away fast ooh. Sourish cabbagey nose, dusty and eggy maltiness, corn? What the... Worse than the Bergenbier I’ve had earlier and that’s an accomplishment. Odd, plasticey taste. Someone identified that as cheese and that can go too. So does soap. Anyway, some odd off flavor that gets in front of some light hop acidity and some eggy maltiness. All in all, far from clean and not a good pale lager, let alone "pilsener".

Bottle (thanks mom!). Black-colored with a big brown head. Aroma of roasted malt with some light chocolate notes and dark bread hints. Sweetish roasty flavor with caramel, a bit of coffee and some metallic hints. Finishes dry with a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied. Quite tasty.

can, 50cl, bbf 2008.07.27 aroma has some spices in it, slightly sour too. but quite pleasing poured a giant white head, dwindling fast to a big head. clear yellow. flavor is slightly roasted which is a suprise. somewhat sweet too. palate is watery for a 5% beer. overall an intersting brew, but kinda weird. i can’t taste the alc. my first romanian beer, one more blue country for my stats.
