Bottle from Corti Bros. in Sacramento, CA. BB 6/10/2010. Pours light gold with a three-finger white head. Aroma of noble hop underlaid by an almost honey sweetness. Near medium body wih creamy carbonation. Flavor is pale malt with a bit of grassy bitter. Finishes bitter and very slightly astringent. Certainly much better than USA macros.

Can in Bucharest. Golden, brownish color with a small white head. Sweet with fruits. Some malts and a somehow weird metallic taste.

Bottle in Brasov. Black with a large brown head. Smell of coffee, burnt malt and chocolate. The flavor contained the same as the aroma, plus a decent bitterness. Not bad at all for being a Romanian beer.

Canned 500ml. -from Billa Timisoara. Pale golden coloured, soapy white head, typical n/a grainy nose. Sweet water with sharp grainy taste. Bitter finish and aftertaste.

Bottled 330ml. -at Rimo Caffe, downtown Timisoara. Golden coloured, small white head, dusty apple nose. Artificial fruity and slight bready with notes of grapes in the finish. Crap.

Courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from Timisoara (thanks!)Poured a golden body with a medium sized fluffy white head that went away slowly. Ok nose, honeyish and grainy, hmm..Herbal hop in the taste, some graininess. Bitter aftertaste. Pleasant enough for a n/a actually.

Pour is a bright yellow with a large fizzy white head. Aroma is actually quite decent and fresh for a lager from half way around the world. Lots of bready malts with a suprising hop. Flavor is a bit poor. Some grain and grass but it leaves a bit of sourness on the tounge after the swallow. Still this is not as bad as most ratings on here. It will do for outside activities on a warm summer day.
