Snotterful of fruit, sour fruit palette, dangerously wanting more afterwards. This is the first beer (other than Cantillon) for a very long time that I've pulled that Gurning face upon drinking. Tailor-made...

16oz Can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April 24. Cheers Simon for this. Paired with one of Mike's home-made pickled eggs in lambic. Hazed deep gold appearance, good off-white head. Lovely smooth pineapple character, slightly prickly wild saison base. Nice.

29th April 2024; Monthly Beer Share in Chez Sophie (Shrewsbury), five guys and loads of beer! 473ml can, misty golden pour, off-white head that soon turned 'wispy'. semi-sour pineapples flow through this.

Slightly cloudy deep orange beer, practically no head. Aroma: funky, floral, a bit soapy, deep fryer grease, very herbal, spicy, a bit earthy, wood notes. MF: soft to no carbon, medium body. Taste: very sourish, acidic, lemony, a bit dry, spicy, green apples, a bit fruity, apricots. Aftertaste: dry, spicy, lemony, earthy, funky, apricots, decent!

Clear orange amber beer, creamy white head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: funky, sourish, some vinegar, herbal, rosemary, a bit fishy, lemony, floral, a bit weird. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, herbal, lemony, spicy, a bit fishy, acidic, seaweed. Aftertaste: a bit floral, dry, spicy, herbal touch, spinach, fruity, grapes, a hint of sulphur, vinegar touch, peaches and apricots, malic acid, watermelon (is that the prickly pear maybe?), apples, decent!

Taste: very sourish, vinegar, acidic, lemony, fruity, peaches, more fruits. Nice! Aftertaste: a hint of vinegar still, very fruity, dry, lemony, some tannins, a little bitter, dry finish, nice stuff!

Superficial festival rating @ Rebel Beer Fest 2024. Slightly unclear reddish golden body without any head. Acidic aroma of lemon and grapefruit. Really sour taste, vinegar, lemon, grapefruit. Medium body with acidic aftertaste as well. Rather one-dimensional on the acidic side, not able to detect any grape flavors or anything vinous. Refreshing in smaller amounts.

Superficial festival rating @ Rebel Beer Fest 2024. Unclear pink body with almost no head. Acidic aroma, lemon, sour fruit, unripe white berries. Taste is quite acidic as well with lemon, vinegar, funky Brett and a little hint of yoghurt. Very acidic, but still nice.
