(Draught at London Beer Factory/Barrel Project, Bermondsey, London, 18 Nov 2023) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with citrus, grapes and funky yeast. Fruity, tart taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, grapes, funky yeast and barnyard. Low bitterness. Almost full body, dry. Fresh, tart and quite funky. Very nice.

Bottle pour at The Barrel Project, pours a deep dark mahogany with a tiny head. Aroma has plenty of leather, oak, wild yeast, and a touch of musty dark fruit skins. Flavour is oaky and leathery, with plenty of bugs, moderate acidity, some earthiness, and a hint of fruit skins. A bit flat — maybe this bottle has been opened too long, as the carb seems dulled. Good but perhaps not in optimal shape, or else just under-carbed.

Bottle pour at The Barrel Project, pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is full of deep, complex red grape skins, plenty of bugs, and oak — very cohesive. Flavour is more of the same, with a very deep, tannic, musty red grape skin character that combines beautifully with the wild yeast. Buggy, vinous and oaky. Excellent.

Bottle pour at The Barrel Project, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is full of pungent elderflower that complements the bugs nicely, accentuated by gentle oak. Flavour is buggy and floral, with a real nice elderflower expression, complex bugs, and a touch of oak. Smooth and cohesive. Excellent.

On tap at The Barrel Project, pours a hazy dull golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of floral hops, citrus, acidity and oak. Flavour is less buggy than the Rakau & Montere, with dry floral, citrusy hops, mixed bugs, and light oak. Soft, acidic and buggy finish. It's alright.

On tap at The Barrel Project, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out strong, floral, citrusy hops, with loads of wild bugs and oak in good cohesion. Flavour is tart and hoppy, with lots of wild bugs, moderate acidity, and oak. Balanced well, though maybe a touch acidic. It's alright.
Funky, coffee, tart
