500 ml bottle. Pours unclear golden with medium-sized foamy head. Some tropical fruits, hay, bread, spicy hops. Dry bitterness. Creamy texture, crisp fresh, süffig and palatable, lively carbonated, medium bodied. Dry finish. Lovely Zwickel, but could have been a bit more unfiltered.

Bottle from SinH4, many thanks Stefan! Slightly unclear golden with a white head. Grassy with some cereal, a light citrus bite and mild lingering dry grass bitterness. Highly drinkable, clean, crisp and smooth.

Bottle from SinH4, many thanks Stefan! Pours golden with a white head. Softly carbonated with bread, some floral hops, hay and citrus. Pretty muted and subtle but very refined. Highly drinkable and clean.

Bottle into Steinkrug. Amber-chestnut color with beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, earthy, black breadcrust, well hopped with some juicy hop aromatics, indeed also watermelon. Taste is roasted malts, burnt breadcrust, earthy, nutty, again a good amount of fruity hops. Dry, mineralic, even slightly chalky mouthfeel with surprisingly large-bubbled carbonation. Great Dunkles, Urban Chestnut is really becoming one of my favourite Lager breweries.

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden color with a creamy white head. Aroma is cereals, grassy, citric, juicy pale malts, bready, some sweeter exotic fruits from the hops. Taste is juicy malts, grassy hops, cereal, lychee, crackery, bready finish with an aftertaste of grassy hops. Silky mouthfeel with a natural carbonation. Moreish, and with a subtle and tasty hop character. Would have guessed a higher ABV than 4.7. Another great moreish Lager by Urban Chestnut, these guys are really hitting it off!

Bottle. Hazy amber color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is caramel, fudge, herbal. Taste is the same, lots of fudge and rather sweet. Silky mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Pleasant, but too simple and sweet to be a great example.

Yellow, slightly hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma is a bit like a mountain meadow, with grass, flowers, hay, herbs, grains, some fruity hops.
Tastes similar, with a bit more citric notes.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes moderate bitter, floral, grassy, grainy, a bit piney, a bit sweet.
Crisp and aromatic, with diverse notes that remind me of a mountain meadow, while also with some citric hops from the background. Drinks very fresh and clean, with just enough sweet body for a good balance. Lovely, traditional Bavarian Lager with a lot of character.

500 ml bottle, served in tulip. Pours dark pale orange with big firm head. Grapefruit, mango, truffle, metal, floral notes. Hoppy bitterness. Average carbonated, light-medium bodied. Very crisp and fresh. Good stuff.
