Description
We focus our attention on brewing rustic, unfiltered, aromatic beers that are approachable and unique. We pull from our home brewing background to build beers that pay homage to tradition, but break new ground in American brewing techniques and flavors by blurring the line between beer and wine. We are brewers of big ideas in very small batches.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fruity and citrus forward with quite a bit of orange and grapefruit notes. Medium gin notes and hints of oak. Light SARA funk hiding behind the citrus and gin notes. Hints of grain notes. Pours a somewhat hazy, golden-orange with a medium sized, moderately thick,.white head that recedes fairly quickly to the edges where it lingers for a bit. Flavor is slightly acidic with light grain notes. Medium low bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderate notes of citrus with nice orange and grapefruit notes. Lighter gin botanical notes and hints of oak. Light SARA funk that adds some lemon and green grape notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid citrus saison but the citrus notes overwhelm the underlying beer a bit. Nice gin barrel character that works well with the citrus.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated October 24, 2023. Aroma is hop forward and fruity with fairly strong notes of guava, papaya, tropical citrus, and grapefruit. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a somewhat clear, brilliant, yellow-gold with a medium large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers on the edges. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with medium light cracker malt notes. Medium bitterness and light alcohol notes. Flavor has moderate hop notes with grapefruit, tropical citrus and lighter notes of guava and papaya. Mouthfeel is medium to medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid pale ale. I really like this hop aroma, but the hop flavor isn't as impressive. Nice, fairly crisp, dry malt profile. Balanced bitterness and alcohol notes.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, another solid SARA saison. Nice fruit notes from the fermentation. Solid barrel character and nice malt notes. Hop notes were light, but complimentary in both aroma and flavor.

Bottle shared with Johnny for the birth of his son, cheers buddy! Clear pale yellow color, small to average sized white head. Aroma and flavor are wheat, softly sourish grainy, lightly tart, but very balanced. Almost sparkling, with a touch of slightly unripe kiwi and light grape peel. Very good.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a hazy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is mineral, yeast, oak, lemon zest, floral. Slick body, mineral, lemon, wood, nice tartness, enjoyed this.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated September 12, 2023. Aroma is very malt forward with rich caramel, toffee, toasted honey bread and graham cracker. Hints of herbal hops and alcohol notes. Pours a fairly clear, brilliant amber orange color with a medium sized, moderately thick, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Medium light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with lots of caramel, toasted bread, and graham cracker malt notes. Medium high bitterness and hints of alcohol. Medium light herbal, woody hop notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation and a dry finish. Low, but present astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid marzen. Really nice malt profile, especially in the aroma. Perhaps a bit bitter and hop forward in the flavor.
