Pours a very foamy, clear blonde. The big (huge) white foam is stable and pillowy. Scent is funky, full OB lambic -which I always deem very apple-like, obvisously that part is now greatly enhanced - But I did fear it clashing, which it doesn't (not in the aroma at least) it works like a charm and enhances the lambic. Raw, funky appleskins. Lovely ! Taste is more cider-oriented than the aroma. Still, lambic isn't a lightweight in the balance, but it's not as overpowering as in the aroma. More room has been given to cider, the funky apples (skins), raw tannic fruityness, but the acidity (well balanced, we all know OB!) together with the funk and wood from the lambic, really does work beautifully. Even the carbonation (yes, this is very highly carbonated) - the fine champagne bubbles are the reason I've personally always used champagne yeast for refermentation in my homebrews. At this level though, it's not only the fine pearls (which I simply prefer over bombastic, big bubbles like BE style tripels tend to have) , it's also refinement. Trough the looks of the bottle, the feel of the bubbles, but in this specific case, also the taste itself. I'm not gonna hide the facts I had my doubts about this one, and I've been proving wrong. This turned out the best possible way !

On tap at Gullkorn. A pretty standard yet delicious geeze, though with a good piney, fruity touch in the far back. Don't think I'd notice without seeing the tap list. Anyway, it's sure a fine brew. Quenching. 747415

# 4687; 7/2025. Sour fruity, red currant, funky, leather aroma. Murky orange body, no head. Funky, white currant, floral, sour. Medium body; low carbonation. Very good flavored lambic. 0,2 l, draught, craft-beer bar (Lya), Prague.

2020 bottle at BGB, huge thanks Dita I guess for sharing! Bit hazy deep golden-orange body, no head. Lovely minerally, bretty, citric aroma, well restrained funk, unsure how much the barrel gave, but could envision some white raisins. Lean, dry, tart, nicely funky, citric, some tart white grapes, bretty, sharper tartness than expected and a bit unusual, minerally, but a good one!

Thin body, light carbo. Med-high sour, med tartness. Pleasant full-blood barnyard funk, honestly I do not feel bee pollen, but overall the beer feels fresh, tasty, very good. May I even surmise that it is GOOD FOR YOU. Obviously!

TCBW2024. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is funk, farmyard and some wooden tones with mild herbs. Flavour is tart, some citrus, mild cherries, wood and a bit funky tones to it.

TCBW2024. Orangeish yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some citrus and mild lemongrassy and herbal tones to it. Flavour is herbal, some mild citus, funk and a bit wooden tones. Somewhat dry. Interesting one.
