Description
The Cambier brasserie is an artisanal brewery founded by Jean-Christophe Cambier. It is an urban craft beer brewery located in Croix near Lille in the North. Its philosophy is to reintroduce beermaking as close as possible to consumers.

The Cambier brewery offers a wide range of beers, inviting consumers to discover the brewing flavors of today's and yesterday's world. It brews three ranges of beers, each intended for a different audience: Mongy beers, Cambier beers and ephemeral beers.

The brewery's logo is also inspired by the brewer's star: it is a symbolic representation of brewing alchemy involving the four elements (water, fire, earth, air) involved in the manufacturing process.

750ml bottle. Gift from a friend in Brussels. Cheers Sebastien. Pale gold. Medium haze. Thin, super leggy, lasting, white head. Nose has light, lemon brett. Floral herb. Fresh green hop leaf. Taste is lime juice tart, and crisp, citrus bitter. Light to medium body. Touch of acidity. Foamy carbonation. Well balanced brett twang and green bitterness to finish.

750ml bottle. A gift from a friend in Brussels. Cheers Sebastien. Fully hazy, orange gold. Beautiful, dense, messy, sticky, lasting, bright white head. Looks boss. Nose has soft, oily citrus. Creamy malt. Some lime leaf. Hint of yeasty bread. Taste is light, citrus bitterness. Touch of tartness. No real sweetness here. Bright and fairly sharp on the palate. Foamy carbonation. Light bitterness to finish. Decent.

Thanks! Sampled cask @ GIST. Black with no head. Nose is roasted syrupy herbal dark bread caramel. Bit too herbal taste, bit too vegetable, grain, caramel, bark, smell beats the taste but still fair herbal & dry beer for what it is.
