Bottle consumed at Bierboom, Brugge, Belgium, Friday 15th September 2017 with Lynn and Barry. Hazy gold with a white filmy head, spicy with a bitter linger, a little corainder perhaps. A little bit thin for the abv but it's fine. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

28th May 2017. I took a 75cl bottle to the Burning Soul Brewery tasting session and shared it between five. Golden pour, decent white head. Spicy nose with a light malty base, taste similar with an added mild citrusy flavour within the spiciness. I liked it more than the rest: most likely because I know one of The Four Monks who helped brew this beer.

75cl Bottle @ Burning Soul tasting, courtesy of haddock. Thanks Haddock. Pours a generally clear golden yellow, large white head. Aroma is lightly spicy, lightly sweet saison yeast. Taste continues with high carbonation, soft saison character, a touch grainy and malty. Not a world-beater but it’s ok.
