500ml bottle at home. Hazy golden yellow, big white head, high carbonation keeps it there. Aromas are cereal, honey, light lemon citrus. More lemon on the taste, decent balance, but overall a bit thin and dull.

Cask at The Hanging Bat. Black body with a huge beige head that holds well. Excellent lacing. Mild aroma of milk chocolate, citrus and fig. Flavour of creamy malt, chocolate and orange, however it feels a bit diluted somehow. Iβm not sure if the concentration of flavours isnβt quite there. Medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Faint carbonation prickle. A reasonable Black IPA that just lacks intensity.

330ml bottle at home. Pours dark, dark brown, near black. Thin tan head than soon goes. Aromas of burnt sugar, caramel, a woody note, and something zingy from (Iβm guessing) the yeast. Dark stone fruit too, really interesting nose. Taste brings all this together, with a nice sweet toffee finish, and cleansing bitterness. Their best so far for me.

330ml bottle at home. Pours jet black, thin tan head, little lacing. Head goes after a short time. Aromas largely on the coffee side of things, some toffee. Taste is where the chocolate starts to show through, a sweet edge, but nice roasted bitterness for balance. Slightly oily and slightly less full-bodied than I was expecting, but still very nice.

330ml bottle at home. Hazy light amber pour, massive white head, very high carbonation. Aromas are blackcurrant, orange, some biscuit. Taste has a good fruity sweet note, then a cleansing bitter at the back end. Grassy notes come out too, alongside more biscuit malt. Could do with just a bit more going on for the strength, and too fizzy.

330ml bottle at home. Pours pale gold with a big white head, quite high carbonation keeps it there. Aromas are yeast, clove, vanilla and wheat. Taste has quite a big bitterness, but then this is a high alpha hop. Creamy texture, light body, bitter finish, moving towards being a bit soapy at the end... Good overall.
