330ml bottle at home. Pours hazy pale amber with good white head & lacing. After the cask Citra version I was pleasantly surprised by the higher carbonation. Good blackcurrant and pepper aromas, some dried flowers and biscuit. Taste is too herbally bitter, and goes a bit chewy. Finishes on the astringent side. Not bad.

Bottled. Hazy mahogany colour, mid sized head. Malty aromas with strawberry as a backdrop. Mid sweet with medium body and well runded mouthfeel. Caramelly with fudge and esters. Low bitterness. Malt centric, and more harmonious than it way seem from my wording.

Aroma: Biscuit, pepper and toffee. Just a hint of green hops.

Appearance: Bright copper body with a medium off-white head that holds well. Light carbonation. Nice lacing.

Taste: Ryvita biscuits, sweet caramel, tea and vegetal hops. Peppery finish

Palate: Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. Average carbonation fizz.

Overall: A lovely Amber Ale. I’d prefer a bolder hop character to it, but the flavours are well defined.

Keg at the bat. Pours a pale, cloudy yellow with a thin head. Aromas are grapefruit and lemon, very faint banana. Could do with more carbonation for me. Hops dominate the wheat-beer characteristics. Refreshing though.
