The taste is roasted malt, ash, coffee, toast, earth and oat with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Smooth, well balanced and very drinkable.

50cl bottle from Guid Cheese Shop, St Andrews. Pours closer to amber than hold really. Steady bubbles, nice thin white head. Nose of lemon, honey and hay. Taste of lemon again, some herbs, slight cardboard note unfortunately. Palate us light to medium bodied, texture light and zingy finish though still cardboard note. Overall a decent golden ale.
