Keg at the Lock and Barrel, Bromley. Reddish orange pour with a white head. Red cherries, strawberry jam and fresh cream in the nose. Strawberry jam, red cherries and tart red fruit action in the taste. Does the job.

Tap@Cronx Bar, Croydon - Golden pour with a white head. Fruity and malty with some citrus fruit, sweet pale malty backing, pine needles, medium body, bitter hoppy into the close. Good stuff.

Cask at Cronx Bar, Croydon. It pours clear rich brown with a medium, foamy white head. The aroma is brown bread, toasty grain, cereal, tangy berry and a caramel. The taste is dry, bitter, brown bread, tangy berry skin, dried fruits, caramel, toasty grain and light tannin with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not bad, but I don't really know if that tangy fruit character is on purpose...

On tap at Cronx Bar Croydon. Black beer Rich dark tarry stout with a good blackcurrant edge. Oily. Not much bitterness. Good blackcurrant fruit very jammy.

Cask handpull at Cronx Bar Croydon. Clear gold amber colour lasting white head. Soft soft esters. Some light rubber. Light condition. Some citrus flavour. Some lime. Light bitterness on the finish. Hmmmm.

Cask at Crony Bar. It pours slightly hazy brown with minimal head. The aroma is earth, spicy, stewed black tea, toffee, brown bread and a touch of citrus. The taste is dry, chewy, toothy, over-stewed black tea, perfumed, grapefruit rind, drying, tannic and spice with a drying finish. Medium body, low carbonation and chewy mouth feel. A bit chewy and sort of astringent. Condition is also a bit shit. Not good.
