Can thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - pale lemon with an attractive thin head. Nose - cranberry and hints of cherry lozenge. Taste - more cherry lozenge with cranberry there too. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - not bad!

Bottle at home. Bought at BOB Wines, Sydenham. Roast malt choco aroma. Oil black. No head. Initial sweetness before a sour bitterness kicks in. Chocolate, malts and sour fruit and sour milk. Pretty light. Long semi-dry finish Not keen on the sour milk.

Cask at The Cross Bar. It pours clear orange - amber with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, orange muffin, marmalade, bread and cereal. The taste smooth, mellow bitterness, brown bread, grassy, floral, earth, little bit of orange marmalade, leaf and cereal with a dry toasty finish. Light - medium body and good carbonation. Not a huge amount going on, but drinks easy.

330ml Bottle - Black in colour. Chocolate, roasted malt and a hint of liquorice in the aroma. Chocolate, vanilla and coffee feature in the roasted and slightly sweet taste.

Bottle thanks to swap with Scopey. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - light citrus. Lemon presumably but something from the Saison yeast too. Taste - more of the same. A little malty in truth. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - decent saison.
