Cask at Cronx Bar. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, tropical fruits, peach, orange marmalade, mango, bread, resin and candy. The taste is dry, bitter, resinous, bready malt, oiliness, citrus peel, stone fruit, grass, light alcohol and hay with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Aroma is pretty juicy. Decent stuff.

Bottle at Wedge Issue, Clerkenwell, London, Saturday 3rd June 2017 in the company of Ken Lemony gold with not much of a head to speak of. Actually on second pour it’s quite lively, a touch spritzy on the nose, clean, fruity, wheaty, I have to say the Darjeeling and Mango are a bit beyond me but it’s fine. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask at Cronx Bar. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is earthy, twig, grassy, hop sack, toffee and light spice. The taste is bitter, earthy, cereal, twig, leather, toasted nut, citrus peel, caramel / toffee and spice with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty run of the mill bitter.

Bottle at Hamilton Hall, Liverpool St Station, London. Hadn’t heard of this brewery before so ordered out of interest. It’s really poor. Artificial hoppy aroma. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness and touch of sour. Light body, thin texture, average carbonation. It’s like a radler yet worse. Just hope it’s a bottling issue and not what brewer intended.

Thank you tderoeck! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ train post-Bruges Beer Festival 2017. BBF May 2017. Lightly hazy orange, creamy off-white head. Nose is sweet dried peaches & apricots, massively so with orange peel, candied fruit. Taste is just sweet apricot, sweet dried apricot to the max, caramel, sweet malt, sugar. Easy fruit sugary body. I have no idea why it is so sweet or so dried apricot heavy but I liked dried apricot so I liked this.

Clear orange beer, creamy yellowish head, unstable, dissipates immediately. Aroma: very fruity, peaches and apricots, banana, yeast. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, very yeasty, bitter, fruity, peaches, some citrus. Aftertaste: very bitter, malty, bit metallic, fruity notes, grains, caramel, bit yeasty.

Bottle at home from JDW. It was infected. No stout should fizz like a glass of coke and it was poured away in disgust!
