Description
Two guys born and raised in Croydon met shortly before the London riots in 2011 at a beer festival, and found they both were having thoughts about starting up a new brewery in the area. After nearly a year of test brewing, planning and trying to find financial backing, The Cronx Brewery was formed in 2012.

In 2016 the Cronx Bar was opened in Boxpark Croydon. Run by a great team, the bar always has a wide selection of real ales and craft beers available.

‘The Cronx’ is a portmanteau of Croydon (Or it’s postcode; CR0) and The Bronx, and has been used as an affectionate tongue in cheek reference to the often much maligned London Borough we call home.

7, 3, 6, 3, 13, 3.2, Bottle at craig?s. Pours golden orange, nose is toffee, light citrus, taste is sweet, fruity.

Pours a dark brown colour with a small frothy beige head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts, with chocolate and coffee notes and something less pleasant. It's quite sweet, brown sugar, roasted malts and chocolate flavours with some roasted notes in a sweetish finish.

Overraskende lesbare (og relativt pålitelige) notater fra årets GBBF. Fra keg delt med Steven: lett uklar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Besk grapefrukt sammen med granskudd/eukalyptus. Tørr og ikke spesielt sjarmerende.
