2/6/2022. From BIAB at the 35th Colchester Real Ale & Cider Festival. Pours clear golden with minimal head. Aroma is semi-sweet apple, caramel, woody, boozy, lightly funky. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, light tartness. Medium body, oily sticky mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Increasing bitter alcohol finish. Doesn't try to hide its abv.

Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! #200 Devon cider rating. Deep golden colour, bubbly white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of apple, fruity & fleshy, musky, floral, vanilla. Taste is sweetish, apple, floral, fleshy, with musk & vanilla hints, some acidity and tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.

Sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers Shawn! Golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates way and aroma of apples, musty, woody, vanilla, alittle mucky funk. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, orchardy, some apple core, with alittle funk and drying tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Tap at Dukes, Sidmouth. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a short-lived, fizzy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is fresh crushed apples. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a crisp, acidic, juicy, apple, light herbal palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

From cask at Tide End Cottage at Teddington with Terje and Jon Einar 14.05.22. Clear dark golden. No head. Fine aroma and taste of sweet apples ans blackberries. Very quaffable, although not very complex.

Tap at the Aleway, Axminster, 15/04/22. Lightly hazed golden with a decent white cap as Ciders go. Nose is apple pulp, straw, tannins, vague funky aroma. Taste comprises apple skins, wood, straw, grains, bitter sweet tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent refreshing drop.

Like most Ciders this one tasted of apples, my 500ml bottle was fine, almost liked it. Gets my usual Cider score of 3.
