Can shared by PinkZambia light haze deep yellow with a huge white pillowy head. Standard French yeast aroma. Very pale light malt flavors with a strange hay and rusty nail character. Just OK

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains, with some vanilla, a bit of apple and a backing bourbon note. Flavor has apple, sweet grains, caramel and some bourbon in the finish.

Poured from a 12oz can. Aroma is moderately malty with some cracker and a light caramel character. Moderate grapefruit notes with some light pine resin character. Light tropical fruit notes as well. Pours a slightly cloudy, light copper-orange with a big, fluffy, slightly off white head. Moderately high lacing With faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with some cracker malt character and light caramel notes. Medium bitterness with moderate hop flavors. Hop flavors of grapefruit and pine resin with a bit of stone fruit. Faint alcohol note in the finish and some lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation with a bit of slick sweetness but no stickiness. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer but a bit too much malt character and not enough hop flavor. Well balanced but not towards the dry, very hop forward character that I prefer. Not too sweet, but a bit sweeter than I prefer.

Bottle. A- Dark fruits, caramel, rosy, whiskey, woody. A- Mahogany color, slightly hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Dark fruits, malty, caramel, bourbon, rosy, slightly sweet. P- Full body, average texture, soft carbonation, smooth finish. O- One of the sweetest and smoothest barley wines I have had to date. There is an aroma and taste that I can’t wait put together, but it’s a pleasant one at that. Can’t really tell this has been aged that much, but it’s subtly there.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark caramel-amber color with a medium sized foamy off white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sourish, tart and dryish with fruity and floral hops. The flavor was tangy and bitter with floral and perfumey hops - thin and lacing in any noticeable malt base. Medium finish. Medium body. Meh.

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a black color with a small foamy tan head that faded and left decent lacing. The aroma was strong ground coffee and a bit of roasty malts. The flavor was strong ground coffee, vanilla, marshmallow with sweet toasty malts. Very long finish. Thick and creamy body. Very nice.

On tap. Pours a clear gold with an amber hue and a white head that starts at the edges and dissipates completely. Aroma has a good amount of earthy citrus with light grain and grass backing. Flavor is more grassy with some sweet grains and a strong biscuit backbone.
