Can. Color: Golden, off-white head Aroma: Malty, bit grainy. Taste: Very malty, hints of caramel and grainy hints, subtle herbal, spicy hints. Just below medium body, slightly watery. Moderate sweet, light bitterness. Soft carbonation. Easy drinkable for the big crowd, yet also ok for the geek.

Pours a clear golden colour and a white head. Aroma's: light smokey, a bit sweet malts. Flavour is light malty sweet, light bitter. Light bodied. Finishes nice and smokey, moderate bitter.

Pours near-black dark brown. Large off white head. Scent is roasty, chocolate, mild ashy. hops are fairly silent, but provide a herbal character under the roast. Taste is full, roasty but not super smooth, feels a bit ... Weird. Unfresh, somehow. Hops remain mild, green and herbal if anything, with minor bitterness. Just something about the roast / malts that makes me think of aged coockies - which i'm not particularly liking. It's OK I guess, but not convincing. Fairly full bodied and a mild sweetness.

Clear dark amber beer, small creamy off-white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, rural, barnyard. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: good bitterness up front, some caramel, malty, grains. Aftertaste: bitter, dry, hoppy, nice, little fruity.

0.75 l bottle from 'Drinks & Gifts'. Almost clear, dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently smoky and slightly fruity aroma of caramel, smoked ham, raisins, nuts and prunes. Gently sweet, malty, slightly bitter, moderately smoky, a little roasty taste of caramel, chocolate, toasted nuts, raisins, smoked ham and prunes, followed by a short, gently bitter, roasty finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent, chocolaty Doppelbock with a subtle touch of smoke.

Can at Sams before the hops die #2 tasting 02/09/2022 - citrus tangerine and grapefruit with some further juicy peachy and mango notes coming in, sweet malty backing with a piney bitter edged hoppy close. Very nice.

Can. Color: Lightly hazy golden, thin white head. Aroma: Hoppy, citrus fruit. Taste: Hoppy, citrus fruit (orange, tangerine), some subtle bread and caramel and tropical fruit. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Moderate going to over moderate bitterness, light to moderate sweetness. Nice hoppy finish. Could have had some more carbonation but nice one overall.
