A small family owned brewery dedicated to brewing authentic, traditional style beers.
Our focus is on using the best available malt and hops from farmers and people we’ve actually met and visited. Beers are brewed using a traditional style German brewhouse, matured over many months and then we self-distribute all our beers to publicans and off licences we respect and trust. This we believe, allows us to provide you, the customer, with a genuinely authentic beer.

Tap at The Rob Roy in Cobh, Ireland. Pours hazy light ruddy brown with a large beige head. Aroma has a deal of clove and also decent banana. Quite a tasty ale, spicy and rather dry. Not to mention bitter. Didn’t get any chocolate for a long time, but there is a hint,

At a tasting, thanks, medium frothy bubbly head, clear deepish brown color with some reddish hues, roasted coffee aroma, milk and dark chocolate flavor with some charred notes, mellow bitterness. Fair but not really too exciting.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Alexey’s place. Thanks Tom L. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, dark fruits, a bit of chocolate. Bittersweetish roasty flavor, with chocolate, dark fruits, and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied, over-carbonated.

Bottle shared at the Cafe Abseits tasting during the Bamberg Excursion. Thanks to Cloin for this bottle. Good for the style. Very sweet, with plenty of caramel and bread. Good balance. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. A little heavy going on the finish, quite sweet, with more rich, bready malts. Good dubbel.
