Pale yellow with slight banana on the nose. Slightly sweet, Hefeweizen flavor with a funky finish. A little ginger spice taste.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clear, pale straw gold color with a finely carbonated white head that dissipates. Faint melon and peach aromas on the nose with grass and Meyer lemon. Nose is very muted though. Light on the palate with lots of twigs and grass, crackery malt and some light orange zest as it goes down. Lingering orange pith, lemon and grain on the finish. Very light, dry finish, but not enough body or haze to back up what is being advertised. More of a session IPA I suppose.

4 week old can A: Poured a big pillowy yellow white lasting head atop a lightly hazy, bubbly pale gold body. S: Sweet melon, lemon/lime citrus and caramel in balance. T: Moderately bitter hops with underripe pineapple, lemon zest and pith. Some faint biscuit underneath but a bitter pithy aftertaste. M: Light to medium weight, smooth grainy texture and mostly clean finish. O: Hoppy and bitter but not too juicy make it good if not outstanding. Worth a try.

Copper color with tan foam. Malt aroma. Sweet caramel flavor that quickly finishes with medium hop bitterness and crispness. A little floral or earthy. More hoppy than malty sweet.

Pours near black with a small tan head. It has a roasted malt and coffee aroma. The flavor is of dark roast malt with coffee and chocolate leading into a nice roasty finish. It's not overly sweet. This is a pretty solid stout.

Bottle. Pours a pitch black color with a thick tan head and great retention. Great lacing too. Rich chocolate aroma. Rich dark chocolate flavor mixed with very dark roasted barley. Sweet, but not too much; Just enough to hide any bitterness. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. The 8.0% ABV and 45 IBU are both well hidden. Great balance and a great beer.

Can from Trader Joe's. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige foam that lingers, then dissipates. Aromas of coconut, vanilla, cacao nib and slight tobacco. Fairly smooth on the palate with a slight creamy note from the lactose. More dry cacao nib, espresso notes and faint coconut and roasted malt. Lingering dryness on the finish with coffee and cacao. Drier overall than expected.

Easygoing milk stout, with a balanced presentation of milk chocolate, roast, and a needed bitter finish. Lactose offers up vanilla in the fade, while the middle is full of coffee cherries, mocha, and hints of anise. Milk sugar comes on a bit too strong for comfort on the back end--there's a marshmallow vein I'm not particularly loving--but the bitterness helps shore up any cloy notes. Not a classic, but drinkable.
11/20/18, like a typical malty milk stout but massive chocolate back, so tasty. Nose is mediocre malty but soooo much chocolate on the front mid back. Mmmmm

Bottle from Midtown Corkdorks. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam that lingers, then dissipates. Strong grapefuit and citrus-forward aromas. Quite bitter (borderline astringent really) on the palate. More dried grapefruit peel and loads of citrus pith. Lingering dryness and pithy bitterness. Would be better with a little more malt.
