This is a 2014 vintage. Medium brown, with just a thin head. There's a lot of deep fruitiness, with a bit of alcohol, some sort of mushroomy notes and hints of nuttiness. I am not sure what this was like when it's fresh, but it has some interesting notes at this age. Light body, and some decent complexity.

2014 vintage. 22 oz. bottle, pours a murky dark brown with a reddish hue and a medium beige head. Nose is very oxidized, with lots of toasted caramel, burnt toast, and cardboard. Flavour is likewise indicative of being past its prime, with caramel, bready malt, and cardboard. Very malty and oxidized. Not too pleasant at this point.

Bottle. A- Vanilla, oak, mild sourness, bat guano, A- Black color, black liquid, light brown head. T- Vanilla, chocolate, milk, oak, mild whiskey, mild char, P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly off finish. O- How does this only have 3 rates and the beer has been out of 2+ years. This bottle was about 18 months old. Barrel aging adds minimal bourbon notes but does give off that oak sourness. Good but not a fan of that oak sourness.
