Description
Lincoln Green, established by Anthony Hughes in 2012 takes its name from the colour of dyed woollen cloth worn by the legendary Robin Hood well known for championing the rights of everyday working folk. And like Robin Hood we believe in putting people at the heart of everything we do.

The words ‘quality’ and ‘consistency’ resonate throughout our business. 1st Oct 2015: cask at the Crown Inn, Oakengates Shropshire. Very pale golden body, a wispy white covering on top. Hops all the way and nicely put together. One of the better American style IPA’s I have had in the UK, still not as hoppy as their US counterparts but a pleasant drink all round.

Cask @ Dirty Dicks, Halifax. Very dark red with a creamy off-white head. Has a medium roasted malt aroma and taste, quite crisp and fairly easy-drinking.

GBBF Day 3. Cask. The annual Harrisoni/madmitch76 walkabout. Clear pale gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is light and crisp. Nice condition. Unusually tropical fruit nose with mango and lime. Light floral bitterness. Trace of smoke on the back end. Finishes dry and crisp. Unusual and crisp Golden Blond.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is toasted, light grainy hoppy. Bitter, light fruity and crisp hoppy. Dry, light herbal and dry bitter finish.

Cask at GBBF 2015. Gold yellow lasting white head. Very drinkable golden ale. Good lime mango and lime. Cracking condition. Lovely. Good bitter finish. Outstanding.

Cask @ New Oxford, Salford. Blonde with a thin head. Crisp with a malty nose, but not very flavoursome with a dry hop character.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Pale gold with a frothy head. Hopped with an acute sugar nose and sugary hop taste.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Lincoln Green Tuck ].Clear dark brown color with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, chocolate, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
