Cask (Nottingham Beer Festival 2014) - Dark brown in colour. Cocoa, roasted malt and blackcurrant feature in the aroma. Berries, coffee, chocolate and roasted malt feature in the taste. The Vimto notes are subtle and complement the beer well.

Bottle at the Room 118 tasting, Tulip Hotel Bodegraven, post BBF 6 day 1 26/09/14 thanks to Ian. Lightly hazed pale golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is citric sherbets, orange pith, grassy notes. Taste comprises more citric sherbet, lemon rind, tangerine, straw. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings. Adequate GB.

Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours clear brown with a creamy tan head. Good character, rich burnt coffee grounds, roasted malts, earth, dry chocolate. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Ashy roast dominates the finish with more dry chocolate, moderate dried berries. Very good. Nicely rounded.
